Collections can be old and/or new items. Collectors and dealers may use the word vintage to describe older collectibles. Most collectibles are man-made commercial items, often once everyday objects that become collectible since almost all those once produced have been destroyed or discarded.
a collectable is typically a manufactured item designed for people to collect. In this respect, they are distinguishable from other subjects of collections, such as objects manufactured for purposes other than collecting (e.g., books, comics, matchboxes, pens, postcards, stamps, toys).
A collector's item, in contrast is made without the intention of special interest but due to rarity or uniqueness, production fault, human error, or other events, becomes sought after due to its rarity in these circumstances.
memorabilia (from the Latin for memorable) is an object that is treasured for its memories; memorabilia is valued for a connection to an event - historical, sporting, cultural. Such items include cigarette & bubblegum cards, publicity photographs, posters, entertainment-related merchandise, badges and other, often-licensed and/or signed, items.
Ephemera is transitory written and printed matter not intended to be retained or preserved. The word derives from the Greek, meaning things lasting no more than a day. Collectible ephemera includes stuff like tickets, newspapers, magazines, postcards, posters....
Stuff aims to be nirvana for collectors, a magnet for memorabilia lovers, ecstasy for ephemera fiends – so whatever you collect, get in touch, come and see us.........
